Minnesota Lottery Will Give Out 250 Free Mega Millions Tickets
The current Mega Millions jackpot payout is now up to more than half a billion dollars.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Tomorrow might just be your lucky day. The Minnesota Lottery announced this week it's giving away 250 free Mega Millions tickets to the first people — age 18 and up — who visit the "Scratch Utility Vehicle" in their Roseville headquarters parking lot Friday.
After no one won the Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday night, the record-breaking jackpot grew again. On Wednesday night, the jackpot ballooned even larger. Then it grew a third time on Thursday morning.
The grand prize is now an incredible $970 million. If someone wins the prize on Friday night, they'll have an option to take a staggering $548 million in cash.
