Nova Classical Academy Senior Jumps to Third in State
Nova Classical Academy Senior Places Third in State in the Triple Jump at MSHSL Track and Field Meet

Bakari Jackson, graduating senior at Nova Classical Academy, placed third in the state at the Minnesota State High School League Track and Field Meet on Friday, June 5, 2015. Bakari earned his third-place medal with a 44’9” jump, a personal best. Bakari also competed in the Long Jump at the state tournament on Saturday, June 6, 2015. He missed advancing to finals in the Long Jump by one half of one inch.
Nova sophomore Amelia Hornseth also competed in the state Track and Field Meet in the 800 meter race. Amelia placed seventeenth in the state in her event. This was Amelia’s second appearance at state, having qualified for the state Cross Country this past fall.
