Reduce, Reuse, Re-LEGO? STA Volunteers Play with LEGOs for a Good Cause

Student and community volunteers joined with STA physics teacher Mark Westlake to complete one of this year's Pay it Forward projects.

As a part of St. Thomas Academy's "Pay It Forward" tradition, the Re-LEGO Project collected unwanted LEGOs this winter to be sorted, repackaged, and eventually donated. The project is the dream of physics teacher Mark Westlake who was supported by a team of students from the area. The "Great LEGO Sort and Build" held March 25-26 was the first opportunity volunteers had to turn piles of donated LEGOs into sets that could be donated to children in need.
