MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN – A female teacher at St. Thomas Academy in Mendota Heights, an all-boys school, has been fired after allegedly sending "inappropriate and concerning text messages" to at least three students. The text messages involved discussion of drugs and alcohol, according to Mendota Heights police. Mendota Heights police are investigating the alleged inappropriate text between a teacher and several students. <a href="http://www.twincities.com/2017/05/10/st-thomas-academy-teacher-fired-for-inappropriate-and-concerning-texts/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">St. Thomas Academy Headmaster Matthew Mohs</a> told the Pioneer Press that school officials learned of one inappropriate text sent to a student Monday: <blockquote>School officials initially were not sure who sent the text, but by midday Tuesday "we had enough confidence that we had the right adult and that we should have legitimate concerns about the behavior."
