Sunfish Lake Man Launches Campaign for Franken's U.S. Senate Seat

A Sunfish Lake man announced via YouTube on Wednesday that he plans to run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Al Franken.

A Sunfish Lake man announced Wednesday that he plans to run for U.S. Senate as a Republican candidate in 2014.

Mike McFadden, a business executive, announced his candidacy via the above YouTube video.

The senate seat is currently held by Democrat Al Franken, and the Minnesota DFL is already fighting McFadden in the form of a statement issued by DFL Chairman Ken Martin.
