Unseating Franken: Mike McFadden Gains New Co-Chairs, New GOP Rival
Former U.S. Sens. Norm Coleman and Rod Grams are co-chairs of the Sunfish Lake Republican's U.S. Senate campaign. State Sen. Julianne Ortman has joined the race.
Mike McFadden, the Sunfish Lake businessman running for Al Franken's U.S. Senate seat, has new supporters and a new rival:
- Norm Coleman and Rod Grams, both former senators from Minnesota, are McFadden campaign's honorary co-chairs.
- State Sen. Julianne Ortman (R-Chanhassen) made her candidacy for the seat official. State Rep. Jim Abeler (R-Anoka) is also in the race.
