Viewfinder: Future Warriors Get Introduction to Varsity Hoops

Basketball players in kindergarten through eighth grade got a crash course in basketball skills at the 2011 Henry Sibley Warrior Basketball Skills Camp Aug. 1-4.

Taught by Varsity Head Coach Lernell James and past and present members of the Henry Sibley varsity basketball team, the camp offered small group instruction on footwork and proper shooting form, ball handling, creating scoring opportunities, passing, setting and reading screens, rebounding, defense, communication, mental toughness and speed, agility and explosiveness.
