I am a proud member of Henry Sibley High School Graduating Class of 2014. Before I go off to college, I will have the opportunity to cast my first vote and it will be to support the schools in my community. I am grateful for the education I have received, and I want that to continue to the next generation of kids. In today’s competitive world, technology isn’t optional – it is necessary. In addition, I believe that all kids should CONTINUE to have existing access to early learning opportunities. Our district is growing and that is great – more kids will have the same kinds of experiences that I have had. I am very excited to be starting my next education adventure. This fall, I will be pursuing my dream career in the School of Nursing at the University of Minnesota. I was also so fortunate to receive a very generous scholarship. I know that this would not have been possible without the support of the fantastic teachers and staff of District 197. Please join me in supporting our schools!
