1 Injured, Another Arrested In Blaine Stabbing
One man is in the hospital and another is behind bars after a late-night stabbing Sunday in a Blaine hotel.
BLAINE, MN — A fight at a Blaine hotel has left one man in the hospital and another in police custody. Blaine police confirm that just before midnight Sunday, officers were called to reports of three men fighting at the Asteria Inn and Suites on Baltimore street.
When they arrived, they found a man who had been stabbed multiple times. Police say the 42-year-old victim was taken to a nearby hospital and underwent emergency surgery, but is now in stable condition and expected to recover.
Officers also arrested a 32-year-old man. He has been booked into the Anoka County Jail on suspicion of assault in the second degree. It's unclear if police are still searching for the third man involved in the fight.
