14-Year-Old Charged With Murder After Man Shot In Head: Reports

MINNEAPOLIS — A 14-year-old boy is charged in the shooting death of a 32-year-old man in Minneapolis, according to reports.

Christopher Stephano Bennett was shot in the head April 18 in the area of 18th Street and Nicollet Avenue in Stevens Square, and died three days later, KSTP reported.

The teen was charged April 27 via warrant with murder and assault, according to the Star Tribune, which reported the boy was arrested Monday and jailed at the Minneapolis Juvenile Detention Center.
