26 Pounds Of Marijuana, Nearly $100K Seized In MN Raid: Police
In addition to marijuana, police said they found 3.5 lbs of psilocybin mushrooms, ecstasy pills, scales, and guns in a man's apartment.

VIRGINIA, MN — A northern Minnesota task force seized a treasure trove of drugs, cash, and weapons, according to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday, the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force executed a search warrant at the apartment of 22-year-old Tyler A. Lawrence in Virginia.
The search warrant came after the task force consulted with Arrowhead Regional Corrections and the United States Postal Inspectors Office, authorities said.

During the search of Lawrence's apartment, officers found $92,292, two firearms, 26 pounds of marijuana, 3.5 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 12 grams of suspected heroin, 79 assorted ecstasy pills, 23 LSD doses, and digital scales, according to the sheriff's office.
Lawrence was arrested on suspicion of probation violation, but authorities are asking for first and second-degree drug sale charges to be filed against him.

"This seizure was the direct result of multiple agencies sharing information to make a proactive impact on crime," the sheriff's office said.
"The LSVOTF continues to build relationships and improve coordination among its criminal justice and law enforcement partners on the Iron Range in order to track down and apprehend individuals who continually engage in dangerous illegal activity and attempt to profit from distributing illicit and toxic substances into our communities."
