9 Inches Of Snow Possible For Twin Cities Metro: MN Weather
There's even a 1 in 10 percent of 11 inches of snow falling in the Twin Cities metro area, the National Weather Service said.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Mother Nature is not wasting any time whipping up the first snowstorm for 2023. Up to 9 inches of snow could fall in the Twin Cities metro area between Monday night and Tuesday.
"A winter storm is still on track to impact the area Monday evening through Tuesday," the National Weather Service said. "Heavy snow, freezing rain, & rain are all possible at times - depending on how far north or south the storm tracks. This remains a complicated forecast, so stay updated at."
A winter storm watch has been issued for Morrison, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Stearns, Benton, Sherburne, Isanti, Chisago, Wright, Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Washington, Polk, Barron, Rusk, St. Croix, Pierce, Dunn, and Pepin.

The storm watch is in effect from Monday evening through Tuesday evening.

Sunday: A chance of flurries before noon. Patchy fog before 1pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 30. West southwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
Sunday Night: Patchy fog between 7pm and 3am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 20. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Monday: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly between 11am and 2pm. Cloudy, with a high near 30. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Monday Night: Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain. Low around 27. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
Tuesday: Snow, possibly mixed with freezing rain, becoming all snow after 8am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 34. North wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no ice accumulation expected. New snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches possible.
Tuesday Night: A 40 percent chance of snow, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 18. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 23. North wind around 10 mph.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 4. North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 17. East northeast wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 10. South wind around 5 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 29. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
