Former Minnesota Vikings kicker Blair Walsh has moved into a new career after football.
Walsh is now working in real estate in Newport Beach, California, where he is part of the Brian Sperry Real Estate Group at Compass, according to his real estate profile.
Walsh was drafted by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft after playing college football at Georgia. He quickly became one of the league's top rookie kickers, earning First-Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors in his first season.
His time in Minnesota, however, is also remembered for one of the most painful playoff moments in franchise history.
Walsh missed a 27-yard field goal wide left with seconds remaining in the Vikings' 10-9 playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks at TCF Bank Stadium in January 2016. The kick would have given Minnesota the late lead in one of the coldest games in NFL history.
Walsh remained with the Vikings into the 2016 season before later playing for the Seahawks in 2017.
He last played in a regular-season NFL game in 2017 with the Seattle Seahawks. He later had brief stints with the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints but did not appear in another regular-season game.
