A Little Over Half An Hour From Minneapolis Is A Charming Lake Park With Trails, Swimming, And Boating (fooshya.com) — If you're looking for a quick escape from Minneapolis, Lake Minnewashta Regional Park sits just over half an hour west with swimming, trails, and boating. The 340-acre park offers sandy beaches, easy hikes, a dog park, and winter skiing options, giving Minneapolis residents an easy day-trip spot to enjoy lake life without a long drive.
