Another Heatwave Is Coming: MN Weather

TWIN CITIES, MN — Don't get used to the cool, autumn-like temperatures just yet. Summer is planning to have at least one last hurrah in Minnesota.

After temperatures in the mid-70s this past weekend, expect highs to rebound into the 80s in the coming days.

The hottest day of the week will be next Sunday when the temperatures should hit at least 90.

Little to no rain is expected in the next couple of weeks.

Monday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm. Sunny, with a high near 86. South wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7pm. Mostly clear, with a low around 62. North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 81. North wind 5 to 15 mph.
