Bloomington Standoff Ends Peacefully, Man In Custody

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Bloomington police say a man is in custody after a standoff Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called to a residence on the 10200 block of 5th Avenue just before 4 p.m. on a report of a man who barricaded himself inside.

Negotiators were able to convince the man to surrender at about 4:15 p.m. It is not clear if he was the only person inside the residence.
