Brief Heatwaves Starts Tuesday: MN Weather
Summer-like weather will make its way into the Twin Cities this week, before temperatures drop back down over the weekend.
TWIN CITIES, MN — A short heatwave will make its way into the Twin Cities metro area this week. Temperatures will peak on Thursday, which will feature a high of 90 degrees.
Temperatures will drop back down this weekend.
"Thursday of this week will be the hottest despite also being the most windy," the National Weather Service said.

"A cold front will pass through Thursday night leading to a cooler end to the week along with a few chance for light rain. Thunder will be limited as the environment won't be conducive for storms."
