
Look, play, and learn with your child at Mini Mia! This free program occurs on the first Wednesday of the month and various Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Rotate through various kid-friendly activities at your leisure. Enjoy simple art making, a gallery experience specially designed for caregivers and little ones (ages 0–5), and a movement class. Make new friends and introduce your child to the wonders of art in a comfortable, kid-friendly setting.
A 30-minute movement class start at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Art making and gallery visits are available for the duration of the program.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and a front-facing carrier (if appropriate) for this program.
Free registration is required. Registration opens on the 15th of the month for the upcoming month’s sessions.

Q: What should I bring?
We recommend a front-facing carrier for infants, and comfortable clothing for you and your child. You are welcome to bring a stroller, and snacks or drinks, but we ask that you do not consume snacks or drinks during our time in the galleries. Bags, parcels, and backpacks larger than 15 x 15 inches are not allowed in the museum.
Q: Do you have family bathrooms?
Yes. Our first-floor Family Center has an all-gender family bathroom with an accessible nursing room and changing table. We have accessible bathrooms on the second and third floors as well.
Q: Do I need to register beforehand?
Yes. Advance registration is required, and space is limited.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
We understand that plans can change fast with little ones. If you need to cancel, please call us at 888-642-2787, or email visit@artsmia.org. We also ask that you stay home if you or your child is sick.
