Back by popular demand at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, Minneapolis’ own Urban Classic, led by the incomparable Michael Bland, returns for a two‑night celebration of the timeless music of Earth, Wind & Fire.

This powerhouse band, complete with a full horn section, brings the unmistakable funk, soul, and R&B energy that made EWF legendary. Michael Bland and his all‑star band deliver electrifying performances of the biggest hits, including Let’s Groove, Boogie Wonderland, Shining Star, After the Love Has Gone, Reasons, September, and many more favorites. This is a high‑voltage tribute you’ll feel from the first note to the last. A must‑see experience for any Earth, Wind & Fire fan.


About Michael Bland:

Drummer Michael Bland is best known for his work with Prince and the New Power Generation. Starting in 1989, he was a member of NPG. Also, Bland played with Prince live and on albums for seven years. In 2010, Bland became a member of Nick Jonas & the Administration, a side project of Nick Jonas (Jonas Brothers). Furthermore, Bland worked with Vulfpeck, playing drums on the 2017 single “Hero Town”. Additionally, he has recorded with Cory Wong several times. Michael is also the current Drummer for Soul Asylum.
