Come join us at Lakewood Cemetery for a special event honoring 170 Civil War veterans who previously had unmarked graves and just received new grave markers. This is a great opportunity to pay tribute to these heroes and learn what units they served. The Civil War era ceremony will be held in person, so mark your calendar and be part of this meaningful event. Let's come together to remember and honor those who fought for our freedom. Open to the public and free.
In attendance will be members of the Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Camp 56, American Legion, VFW, reenactors from the 1st Minnesota Infantry, Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War, Living History Society, and impressions of President Lincoln, Weeping Widow and others.
