MINNEAPOLIS — Anyone driving to work or traveling for Christmas this weekend should expect wet conditions on the roads.
"Gloomy weather will be the theme across Minnesota and western Wisconsin Friday," the National Weather Service said.
"Widespread dense fog will continue to limit visibility for locations in western Minnesota through the middle of the day, with drizzle and patchy fog likely elsewhere. Record warmth arrives this weekend, followed by the return of wet weather for Christmas Eve. Likely rain chances will persist into Christmas Day."
