Climb with Minnesota’s Finest
Training, Team Building Begin for the Fight For Air Climb Minneapolis

Training, team building and fundraising start today for the Fight For Air Climb at U.S Bank Plaza, which gives locals the chance to climb alongside Minnesota’s finest firefighters, police officers and other first responders. The American Lung Association in Minnesota announced that registration is now open for the event, set for Saturday, February 23.
The Fight For Air Climb invites individuals, friends and family teams, corporate teams and first responders who race up the stairs of U.S. Bank Plaza (31 floors, 680 steps) to raise awareness and money to fight lung disease. This is a popular event for Minnesota first responders -- each year more than 200 firefighters, law enforcement officers and first responders from all over the state participate.
“It is inspiring to see all of the local first responders at our Fight For Air Climb, however, anyone can climb! Stair climbing is a great way to stay active during the chilly Minnesota winters, but also provides a fun activity for families, team building for corporate teams and a fundraising activity for students,” said Jessica Wright, development director for the Lung Association. “The Fight For Air Climb brings the community together to fight for something that impacts us all – clean air and healthy lungs.”
