Coronavirus: Metro Transit Issues Reminders For Riders

Metro Transit issued reminders to customers on best practices for riding public transit during the coronavirus outbreak.

Some updated reminders for our customers:

DO NOT ride transit if your trip is not essential.
Examples of essential travel include obtaining groceries, prescriptions and other necessary supplies or traveling to an on-site essential job when no other alternatives are available.

Cover your nose and mouth with a cloth mask or other face covering.

Keep at least six feet between yourself and others while on board vehicles and at bus stops and rail platforms.

If you must take transit, wait for buses and train cars that are not crowded.

If able, board and exit buses using the rear door.
The front doors and ramps are available for those who need it for any reason.
