Two MPD Officers responded to an Emotionally Disturbed Person with a gun at 49th and Lyndale. The Subject drove her vehicle into freeway barrier on the frontage road on the east side of Hwy 94. The Subject was seen jumping up and down on the hood of her car with a gun in her hand.

The two officers approached her vehicle after confirming her gun jammed. One officer used his taser to immobilize the subject while the other officer disarmed her. The officers found several spent casings (purportedly fired from Subject’s gun) at the scene. An ambulance was summonsed to transport her to an area hospital where she could receive the mental health care that she needed.
