Duluth Vietnam Veterans Memorial Vandalized, Police Outraged

Duluth Police Chief Mike Tusken says the memorial vandalism culprits will "live with shame and karma lurking" unless they come forward.

Duluth Police Chief Mike Tusken wants the culprits responsible for a recent act of vandlism to know that disgracing the memorial and the veterans it honors "is shameful." The Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Duluth's Lakewalk was recently graffitied with a metallic-color marker.

"For the person(s) who acted with disregard and disrespect of this memorial, our veterans and citizens of Duluth, come forward now to repair the pain caused by your actions or live with shame and karma lurking in the shadows you cast," Tusken said.

Duluth police are asking the public for help solving the crime.
