MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesotans can expect several rounds of light snow to arrive this week, with the first one starting Monday morning. Every single day this week features at least some kind of chance for new snow.

"Snow will ramp up and spread eastwards today, with the highest rates and most accumulation through this afternoon in southwestern Minnesota," the National Weather Service said. "Snow spreads eastwards this evening and overnight."

Monday Night: Snow likely, mainly after 11pm. Cloudy, with a low around 29. East wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northeast after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Tuesday: Snow likely, mainly before 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 32. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Cloudy, with a low around 21. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to 5 to 10 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 mph.
