Ex-Canadian Cop Sentenced In Sexual Abuse Of Minor At MN Casino

A former Ontario Provincial officer was convicted in a sexual assault at the Bois Forte Indian Reservation in Minnesota.

MINNEAPOLIS — A former Ontario Provincial police officer was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by another 10 years of supervised release for abusive sexual contact with two minors at a Minnesota casino

On June 22, 2018, Brady John Hillis, 33, of Canada was at the Fortune Bay Resort and Casino on the Bois Forte Indian Reservation, police said.

Hillis was recorded on Fortune Bay’s security surveillance video engaging in sexual contact with two minor victims who were under 12 years of age, according to authroties.

Hillis pleaded guilty to two counts of abusive sexual contact on Jan. 18, and he was sentenced Tuesday.
