Falcons’ Staff Member Tests Positive For COVID-19; Game Against Vikings Still On

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Atlanta Falcons — scheduled to take on the Vikings Sunday — are reportedly shutting down their facility and working virtually after a positive COVID-19 test.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Falcons had one staff member test positive for COVID-19, not a player. Schefter previously reported that there were multiple positive tests.

The team’s game against the Vikings is scheduled for U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis Sunday. According to Schefter, the game is now in jeopardy “as has been the case with other teams in this type of situation”. However, there has been no change to the status of the game as of yet.
