Highs Around 100 Degrees This Week: MN Weather
Minnesotans who don't want to bake outdoors this week will need to find a local pool or air-conditioned room to stay in.
MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesotans should prepare to spend a lot of time in an air-conditioned room or at the local pool this week. The highs will hover close to or at 100 degrees starting Tuesday and lasting through Thursday. Friday's high is 92 degrees.
"A few chances for afternoon showers and thunderstorms, otherwise the heat cranks up Tuesday through Thursday," the National Weather Service said.
"A few severe storms are possible mainly Monday afternoon, with further chances waiting until later on Thursday into Friday."
