Fresh snowfall that fell early Thursday morning will create the conditions for a tricky commute. More snow is expected throughout the day.

TWIN CITIES, MN — More than an inch of snow accumulate overnight in the Twin Cities metro area, and more snow is expected Thursday. Here's how much snow fell between 6 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday:
- MSP Airport: 1.3 inches
- Chanhassen: 1.8 inches
- Eau Claire WI: 5.9 inches
Another 3 inches of snow or more could fall throughout the day, creating conditions for a tricky morning and evening commute:
