Huge Drop In Temperatures Starts Thursday: Minnesota Weather
A cold front will arrive Thursday, causing temperatures to drop by 20 or 30 degrees in the Twin Cities metro area.

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL — A strong cold front will push its way into the Twin Cities metro area on Thursday, causing temperatures to drop by 20 or 30 degrees.
"The cold will last through much of next week, with temperatures below freezing most of the time," the National Weather Service said.

Thursday: Showers and thunderstorms before 3pm, then a slight chance of showers between 3pm and 4pm. Temperature falling to around 43 by 5pm. Breezy, with a south wind 10 to 15 mph becoming west 20 to 25 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Friday: A chance of flurries before noon, then a slight chance of snow showers after noon. Cloudy, with a high near 33. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
