Injured Skateboarder In Minneapolis Has Been Identified
This case remains under investigation however neither driver impairment or speed appear to be factors in this case.

September 15, 2020 (MINNEAPOLIS) On Monday evening, September 14th, a juvenile female skateboarder was struck crossing Dowling Avenue at Bryant Avenue North. The driver stopped and, along with several witnesses, called 911 and rendered aid.

The skateboarder was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center via ambulance in critical condition. At the time of the arrival at the hospital, her identity was unknown.
A call was put out to the media and the information was broadcast in hopes to find the parent/guardian of this female.

With strong thanks to the media and the public who assisted, we have been able to identify the female. She remains hospitalized in critical condition.
