Investigation Closes On Christmas Morning Drake Hotel Fire With Cause Still Undetermined
Investigators appear to be no closer to finding out what led to the blaze.
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Authorities say that they have completed the investigation into the Drake Hotel fire that destroyed the building early Christmas morning, and investigators appear to be no closer to finding out what led to the blaze.
Bryan Tyner, with the Minneapolis Fire Department, says that it appears the fire began in unit 244, but the cause of the fire remains “undetermined.”
