‘It’s Just Not Worth It Anymore’: For Some Minneapolis Businesses, Wednesday’s Riots Were The Last Straw

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — Even before last nights destruction and looting, a number of downtown businesses had been re-thinking their future in the city. WCCO spoke with some of them today about the damage they endured and their futures moving forward.

One of those businesses is Dahl Medical Supply, located at 12th and Nicollet. They’ve been downtown for about 12 years, but after last night, they don’t plan to stick around another day.

“You feel so hopeless and helpless. I have to get there. I have to defend,” Lisa Steffes said.
