What: July 3rd Celebration

Where: Boom Island Park, 724 Sibley St. N.E., Minneapolis

When: 8 p.m. July 3

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board presents a patriotic laser light show with music at 10 p.m. Food trucks arrive at 8 p.m. For more information, visit www.minneapolisparks.org/activities-events/events/red_white_and_boom/.


What: Edina 4th of July Parade and Fireworks 2023

Where: Parade at Edina City Hall, 4801 W. 50th St.; Fireworks in Rosland Park

When: Parade 10 a.m. July 4; fireworks after dusk

Celebrate the Fourth with festive fanfare. About 20,000 are estimated to attend the parade, which will feature marching bands, floats, horses and more. Before the fireworks, enjoy fifes and drums at 8 p.m. and the First John Philip Sousa Memorial Band at 8:45 p.m.
