MINNESOTA — A leaked memo from the Minnesota Republican chairman reportedly tells the party's candidates how they should respond when asked about the issue of abortion this fall.
The memo was posted online by former Republican operative Michael Brodkorb and verified by the Star Tribune.
"As we gear up for the final stretch of election season, the Democrats and the media will continue to try and bait you with questions about issues, most particularly Abortion," the memo states.

The memo tells candidates to answer questions about abortion in the following way:
Here are the facts: Abortion up to the moment of birth is a protected constitutional right in Minnesota. The only two ways this can be changed are by the Minnesota Supreme Court overturning existing law or by Minnesota voters passing a state referendum.
