Man Dies After Hit By School Bus In Minneapolis: Police

MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A man died after he was struck by a school bus early Monday in the Phillips neighborhood of Minneapolis, according to police.

Officers responded around 6:45 a.m. to the scene near East 28th Street and Cedar Avenue South, where they found a man dead under the small bus, police said.

The victim was walking west on East 28th Street and was hit by the bus as it turned left from eastbound East 28th Street onto Cedar Avenue South, according to police, who said the driver was not hurt and was cooperating with investigators. An 8-year-old boy who was riding the bus also had no injuries, police said.

Authorities are investigating.
