Man Shot to Death Outside Pizza Shop in North Minneapolis
A man was shot to death outside a pizza shop Thursday morning in north Minneapolis.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A man was shot to death outside a pizza shop Thursday morning in north Minneapolis. Police have not reported any arrests in the case.
Officers from the Fourth Precinct responded to Broadway Avenue West and Bryant Avenue North at 10:54 a.m. today on a report of a ShotSpotter activation. Police also received several 911 calls from people reporting the sound of shots being fired in the area, according to a news release.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male, outside of Little Caesers Pizza, 901 Broadway Avenue West, who had been shot. Paramedics from North Memorial Medical Center (NMMC) and Minneapolis Fire Department personnel arrived and provided medical care to the victim. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.

The name of the victim, as well as the cause and nature of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The case is being investigated by the Minneapolis Police Department’s Homicide Unit.
