Warm But Messy Christmas Day Possible: MN Weather

MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota's bizarrely warm December will continue through Christmas Day, but it may not be dry. Rain showers could disrupt travel on the days leading up to and on the holiday.

"A cold night is ahead, with temperatures forecast to drop into the teens," the National Weather Service said.

"Winds will shift out of the south Tuesday, which will signal the arrival of above normal air for Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Quiet and mild December weather will be the theme for the remainder of the week. Wet weather is expected to make a return by Christmas Day."
