Minneapolis Police Arrest Culprits During Robbery

April 30, 2020 (MINNEAPOLIS) – MPD Officers were called to Riverside Evangelical Free Church for a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers encountered people inside the building. K-9 responded and apprehended two individuals hiding inside, while other officers apprehended those that tried to flee on foot. Several were taken into custody. The church had over $15,000 in loss. Further investigation revealed which apartment the suspects came from. After a search warrant of this apartment, MPD recovered several thousands of dollars of the missing property from the Church. All was returned to the Pastor of the Church.
