August 23, 2019 (MINNEAPOLIS) At 11:20pm on August 22, 2019, Officers from the Minneapolis Police Department’s Fourth Precinct responded to a 911 call on the 2700 block of Irving Avenue North. Upon arrival Officers located an adult male inside the residence who was deceased. It appears the male had been shot.
Homicide Investigators responded to the scene to check for possible witnesses, evidence and surveillance video. The Crime Lab also responded to process the crime scene for evidence.

The identity of the victim, as well as the nature and cause of his death, will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office. The criminal case number associated with this incident is 19-252903.
Investigators from the MPD Homicide Unit are actively investigating this case and are encouraging anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). All Tips are anonymous and those who provide information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a financial reward.
