MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis is the 10th "greenest" major city in America, according to a new study. St. Paul was ranked no. 18 overall.

WalletHub compared the 100 largest U.S. cities across 28 different environmental friendliness metrics. The study factored in data including greenhouse gas emissions per capita, "green" job opportunities,"smart" energy policies, and more.

Minneapolis scored No. 12 overall for "environment," No. 1 overall for "transportation," No. 31 overall for "energy sources," and No. 14 for "lifestyle and policy."
