Minnesota Mom Gives Life Coins To MPD Officers And Other First Responders To Prevent Suicide
MPD is thankful to have new Life Coins in the pockets of many officers and first responders in the area.
January 16, 2020 (MINNEAPOLIS) – MPD is thankful to have new Life Coins in the pockets of many officers and first responders in the area.
These coins were designed by Carol Castle of Coon Rapids to help stop the escalating suicide epidemic, and include an emergency hotline phone number on them.

Castle’s son was a firefighter with Maple Grove Fire Department and tragically committed suicide 2 years ago.
