A Minnesota girl who went missing this weekend was found when a pheasant hunter heard her cries for help in a cornfield. On Saturday at 4:32 p.m., the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing 9-year-old girl from Raymond, Minnesota. The caller, the child's mother, said the girl was autistic, according to a news release.
The mother said she had searched for the girl for about a half hour before contacting the Sheriff's Office. Kandiyohi County deputies responded and started organizing the search for the missing girl. The deputies requested assistance from area emergency services to help search for the girl in the cornfields near the girl's home.
Two local pilots also volunteered to fly over the cornfields in search of the girl, authorities said.
