MINNEAPOLIS — Another messy storm will hit the Twin Cities metro area early this week, but little or no snow accumulation is expected. However, the northern part of the state could see 10 or more inches of new snowfall.

"Another strong storm system continues to look likely for the Upper Midwest Tuesday-Wednesday," the National Weather Service said.

"The greatest winter weather impacts are expected from the Dakotas through western & central MN, where blizzard conditions are likely."
