"Strong to severe storms are possible tonight," the Twin Cities branch of the National Weather Service said.

TWIN CITIES, MN — Rain overnight combined with hot temperatures will create conditions for a steamy Friday. More storms are expected Friday night.
"Strong to severe storms are possible tonight," the National Weather Service said.
"Large hail and damaging winds are the main threats. The greater risk is in western Minnesota where an isolated tornado is possible. Cooler, drier air will filter into the area later on Saturday behind a cold front."
