MN Weather: Wind Chills Could Fall To 30 Degrees Below Zero
Light snow is possible this week before a serious arctic cooldown around the end of January.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area could see some light snow before temperatures take a nosedive.
"Temperatures will continue to run near to above normal through Friday then much colder air arrives for the weekend through the start of next week, including the potential for wind chills -20 to -30 degrees," the National Weather Service said.
"Light snow is possible both Wednesday and Friday mornings, with the potential for 1-2 inches of snow each day."

Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of snow. Cloudy, with a high near 28. Northeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming north northwest in the afternoon.
Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of snow, mainly before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 12. North northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Thursday: Partly sunny, with a steady temperature around 15. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming southwest in the afternoon.
