Normal Fall Weather Returns: MN Forecast

TWIN CITIES, MN — Low temperatures will fall back into the 40s and 30s as regular autumn weather makes its return.

"Temperatures return to near normal this afternoon and remain there for the next few days. A weak system may bring a little rain on Thursday, but it does not look like much at this time," the National Weather Service said.

Monday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, then a chance of showers after 11am. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 58 by 5pm. Breezy, with a southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Monday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 9pm. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 40. West wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 53. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 37. West northwest wind around 5 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 54. West northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Wednesday Night: Increasing clouds, with a low around 39. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming south southeast in the evening.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55. South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
