Paul Davis Office Owner JP Korpi in Northern Wisconsin Salutes Military Veterans
JP Korpi, owner of Paul Davis offices in Northern Wisconsin honors our fallen military heroes this Memorial Day.
For more than four years, JP Korpi, owner of Paul Davis offices in Northern Wisconsin, served in the U.S. Marine Corps. To honor our fallen military heroes this Memorial Day, Korpi holds tribute to the millions of men and women, along with military service animals who have given their lives as working professionals throughout the U.S. and around the world.
Korpi credits his vast experience and training in military life to the success of his business. As a former member of the U.S. Marine Corps, Korpi was granted a medical discharge after serving in the Mediterranean from 2000 to 2002. He was 20 years old when he enlisted in the Marines and was based at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Korpi was in the infantry on an expeditionary ground combat force and served as a member of the 2nd Marine Division and 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU). He was responsible for geographic combat in a forward-deployed, rapid-response force that conducted conventional and selected maritime special operations at night or under adverse weather conditions from the sea, by surface and by air while under communications and electronics restrictions. Korpi was also actively deployed in Kosovo on Sept. 11 and deployed elsewhere after the attack. During this time, he was injured in the line of duty. Korpi was sent home to the states for rehabilitation. He is fully recovered and active in the restoration and construction business.
According to Korpi, his service in the Marines and as a construction analyst for the U.S. government provided him with a keen appreciation for those who has served and given their lives. The experience also prepared him for the extensive training with Paul Davis as a highly-skilled professional in the construction and restoration services industry and the empathy required to work with customers in need.
