Police Respond To Call For Shots Fired, Find Deceased Male

Minneapolis police officers responded to a report of shots fired inside a residence and found a deceased man in his 30s.

From the Minneapolis Police Department: At 9:44 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, Minneapolis police responded to a report of shots fired inside a residence on the 3800 block of Lyndale Avenue North. Officers arrived and located a deceased adult male in the residence. The adult male is described as being in his 30s.

Officers and investigators canvassed the area and spoke with other individuals inside the residence and in the neighborhood. The Minneapolis Police Department crime lab responded to the scene and collected evidence. The identity, along with the nature and causes of death, will be released by the medical examiner in the days to come. There is no one in custody at this time.
